- Boil the pasta until al dente, then drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, brown the sliced sausage over medium-high heat until edges are crispy.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute. Then stir in honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
- Return the cooked pasta to the skillet. Add pasta water and toss everything together until the sauce thickens and coats the pasta.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers for up to 3 days in an airtight container. To reheat, add a splash of water to bring back the sauce’s stickiness. To freeze, store only the sausage mixture and add fresh pasta when ready. For variations: use chicken, shrimp, or tofu. Make it gluten-free or keto by swapping the pasta. Add bell peppers or spinach for extra veggies.
